Nine years flying hang gliders

What’s your best individual result?

I came third in Lanzarote in 2007 and am in the top 10 in Spain.

Your best flying experience?

When I was 17-years-old I flew 254km from Piedrahita to Burgos in Spain and spent seven hours 43 minutes in the air. A second great experience was in the Pyrenees when I flew a 187km triangle.

Have you flown Laragne before?

Never, but I’d like to because everyone tells me it’s the best place to fly hang gliders.

Your life in brief?

I started flying hang gliders when I was 10-years-old with my father. At 15 I started flying solo. When I was 16 I flew 104km, when I was 17 I flew 252km and at 18 I flew 279km. Now I’m 19-years-old and last year I flew 380 hours.
I live in Madrid, Spain, with my family. I’m in my final year at college, so at all the competitions I have to bring my college books and study after the task or in the morning. My favourite place to fly is Arcones because I used to fly there everyday – and I’ve got a small house there.
I have been living in Wales in the UK, and flying the British league and the Spanish league too. I flew in Texas at the Worlds in 2007

Things you like

I like some places in Wales and I like to do spins and loops when the conditions are good.
